Made By Me: Nate Rayment

How would you describe your style?

“Casual city meets outdoor Pacific Northwest.”

What is something that you do for yourself each day?

“Spend time with my insanely energetic one-year-old Aussie Shepherd pup, Bru. Exercising outdoors with him helps keep me balanced.”

What is your story? Why beer?

“I actually used to be a sport fishing guide, but in 2009, when the economy took a turn, I decided to change industries. Craft beer was still a pretty new concept, and I spent the next five years learning the ins and outs of the industry. Beer turned out to be one of my real passions in life, and at the beginning of 2014, we opened Postmark Brewing.”

What sets you (and your business) apart from the rest?

“I would say our team. We all seem to have a ‘work hard, play hard’ mentality. Whether it’s cabin weekends, music festivals, going to the beach, or working. It’s a lifestyle.”

Let us in on one of your quirks, something weird (okay, unique*) that others might not know about you.

“Neurotic foot tapping. I can’t help it. I just have trouble sitting still most of the time.”

MAN-libs (how do you fill in the blanks?)

“If I had to only eat one food for the rest of my life, I would eat a specific combination of barley, hops, yeast and water because those things together taste pretty damn good.
